THE LOWESTOFT WITCHES

 THE INDICTMENTS UPON WHICH
ROSE CULLENDER AND AMY DENNY
WERE ARRAIGNED

Although the Trial Report says that there were thirteen Indictments drawn up against  Rose Cullender and Amy Denny the original court records show that there were in fact fourteen.  However as the Jury found Rose Cullender "Not Guilty" of bewitching the goods of Robert Sherrington - they were only found guilty on thirteen indictments.  The author of the Trial Report was being "economical" with the truth when he failed to mention the Not Guilty verdict!

The charges against Cullender and Denny can be tabulated thus:
